(see the Design section below)ĭespite the solid appearance and heavy broadside weight, Amagi can take only so much punishment before she breaks. In her current fit, the ship is a reformatted battlecruiser with changes much like those applied to her colleague Kongo resulting in excellent speed and a powerful main battery with a turtleback covered by a thin plating of armor. Sporting five dual turrets each packing a pair of 410mm guns - 10x 16.1" rifles - Amagi is unmatched in terms of raw broadside weight. Hmm.decisions, decisions.Amagi has an impressive reputation among battleships at her tier. On the other hand, It does sound like a very fun ship to play and honestly I suck with the Missouri so even at 75% of the Missouri earnings being able to output better matches more consistently may net me the same earnings. Basically that is the same as saying that you should be able able to expect that a 350k base Earning game in a Tier 8 premium should be a 420k base earnings game in a Tier 9 premium and a mear 12.5% base earnings before service and repair isn't going to give you even a paltry 80k additional earnings. While I understand maybe the Missouri was making too many credits, I think it is safe to say that even reduced, you should be able to at least be able to "Net" 15-20% more credits than a Tier 8 premium with a Tier 9 premium. Unless I am reading the review wrong and LWM can you correct me if I am, 12.5% more than a Tier 8 premium without taking into account service and repair fees seems like it would mean she earns pretty much the same "Net" as a tier 8 premium because lets face it, she is going to cost more to service and repair than lets say the Tirpitz or the Alabama. Well I have to say I am really disappointed they have so heavily nerfed the credit earnings and that fact is making me hesitate on the Musashi now.
